let’s discuss other leaks that can devastate your bankroll when playing more than one table online.
While many multi-tasks are a product of being overworked and/or overloaded, multi-tabling is not. Multi-tabling is a strategy to build your bankroll (i.e., make money),
so if you’re tasked with other things don’t fire up Full Tilt Poker! Worst of all, if you’re actually at work please don’t try this.
Very few employers will tolerate this sort of behavior and moral issues aside; it’s still a distraction (fear of getting caught, email, etc) that can damage your bankroll.
A few missed hands here, a miss-click there, and you’re down several BB’s before you know it.
There’s the even larger fear here of misreading a board and dropping a big pot. It’s happened to the author several times, so don’t say “it won’t happen to me”.
